#setUp15 Vuelvo a participar en la Feria de Arte Alternativa SetUp 23-25Enero Bologna

Del 23 al 25 de Enero, nos vemos en SetUp Art Fair!!! Es un buen motivo para hacerse un viaje a Bologna... (Autostazione, Piazza XX Settembre, 6) Feria alternativa de Arte Contemporáneo
Por mi parte, además de la serie "Maraña in...", habrá una "instalación" interactiva...y hasta aquí puedo leer, aparte de contaros que voy con 3 estupendos compañeros de viaje, Paz, David y Roberto.
From 23rd to 25th January, we are in SetUp Art Fair !!! Is a good reason to take a trip to Bologna ... (Autostazione, Piazza XX Settembre, 6) Contemporary Art Alternative Fair
Besides the serie "Maraña in...", I'll show you an interactive "installation" ... and I can not give you more clues. I'll also tell you that in this occasion I have 3 great travel mates, Paz, David y Roberto.

Here's the "motivation" of the ephemeral and interactive installation that I want premiere in SetUp2015

ART FEEDS PEOPLE • PEOPLE FEED ART
El Arte es un alimento etéreo pero tremendamente consistente para todo aquel que se detiene a dedicarle un poco de tiempo. Enriquece nuestra cultura, contribuye a una apertura de miras, sorprende, emociona, descubre, alecciona, critica, refleja, trasmite,… y todo ello nos nutre más allá de lo que somos conscientes.

Este proyecto hace una reflexión sobre ello, el “Arte alimenta a la Gente”, pero este gesto debe ser recíproco para asegurar la perpetuación de la cultura y de la creación. Es un deber que “la Gente alimente al Arte”, visitarlo, apoyarlo, difundirlo, financiarlo, adquirirlo…

Si esta cadena se rompe, entonces todos habremos perdido la partida.

Art is an ethereal but extremely consistent food for anyone who spends on it a little time. Enriches our culture, contributes to open mindedness, surprises, excites, discover, instructs, criticizes, reflects, transmits, ... all this nourishes us beyond what we realize.

This project aims at reflecting about it, the "Art feeds the People", but this act needs to be reciprocal to ensure the perpetuation of culture and creation. It is a duty that "People feed the Art" visit it, support it, spread it, finance it, purchase it ...

If this chain breaks, then all of we have lost in this game.

My work is characterized by a constant curiosity to know, explore and incorporate new techniques and possibilities to the language of printmaking and photography; with the finality of investigate and merge elements rarely implemented in the graphic creation.

Two disciplines that provide countless nuances to be mixed and show me a tremendous range of opportunities to discover new possibilities every day, and create "my stories", transmuting my pieces in a story of reflections.

Mi trabajo se caracteriza por una constante inquietud por conocer, explorar e incorporar nuevas técnicas y posibilidades al lenguaje del grabado y la fotografía; con el fin de investigar y fusionar elementos raramente implementados a la creación gráfica.

Dos disciplinas que se aportan una infinidad de matices, que se enriquecen mutuamente y ponen ante mí un tremendo abanico de posibilidades que trato de descubrir cada día para contar “mis historias”, trasmutando mis piezas en un relato de reflexiones.

MasauR, born in Madrid, when her destiny seemed to direct she to the creative world of advertising, in 2001 unexpectedly gift break into her life, this will be the beginning of her career in the discipline of intaglio; in 2002 started to study photography; and in 2004 merged the two disciplines with Photopolymer Technique. She extended her knowledge over the years, in courses and workshops by renowned photographers and engraving artists.

In her artistic career significant events are the creation of the Association ADOS; the delivery of her work “Ad Libitum” in the honourable mentions of culture Alcobendas in 2007; the National Chalcographical selected in 2008 her work "Babel under construction", for the exhibition "The Art of Technique 2"; her participation in FEM Festival in Madrid as a membership of ados, with the project "concaten_ados” in 2008 and “concaten_ados chapter II” in 2009; during the celebration of Estampa International Print and Contemporary Art Editions Fair, she is awarded with the prestigious Engraving Fellowship of Casa Falconieri; in 2010 her work "cuestión de opiniones" becomes part of the funds of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid and “Oblivious” in the National Library’s fund; in 2011 is selected in the Biennale of Queretaro (Mexico) and in the Andante Project; in 2012 is chosen to participate in the projects “Mulheres e as Babuchas”, “Luna Azul” and “12x12=144cómplices”; and exhibited her artworks in the gallery Barcel-one in the First Edition of FIG Bilbao; in 2013 the Project "Mulheres e as slippers" is exhibited in Oporto, Lisbon and Paris, was invited to an art laboratory in Falconieri House, and took part in two new Collective Projects “EverywherePrints” and “Assobiador” (Portugal). Starts 2014 showing a new project in SetUp Contemporary Art Fair (Bologna-Italy) being part of the casa falconieri´s booth, also the final work created in the Art laboratory is showed in Nivola Museum (Serdiana) and two pieces of “Maraña” are in the collective exhibition “50 artistas de dentro e fora” in Portugal.

Her works have been present every year, in every edition of the International Fair ESTAMPA, since 2005 to 2011; and in Fig Bilbao since 2012. Her work could be found in private and institutional collection; among those are: Albeda College (Rotterdam), Fondo de Grabado Villa Cebreros (Avila), Teatro Madrid, Estamparte Gallery, Museum of Guanlan (China), Museum of the Arts Printmaking (A Coruña), National Library (Madrid), Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid ... among others.
